In this day of digital messaging and texting and tweeting, how do you stay connected with yourself and God? Do you recognize His messages or are they caught in the SPAM filter?
Spiritual direction is for anyone searching for deeper spiritual insight. It is a spiritual practice both ancient and modern. Spiritual direction is a process that allows you to become aware of the many ways God reaches out to you in your daily life. The still, small voice is with you whether you are racing through your busy days or in prayer. You can use your time with a spiritual director to slow down, to learn how to listen, to explore life's deeper issues and to make progress toward achieving greater consistency between your deeply held values and your actions.
Sincerely,
Jenni

Your Next Meeting @ Transformations |
|
Have your nature and wi-fi too!
Some meeting facilities are all business. You'd expect them to offer technologies like wireless internet. Others are all nature where you expect to share a bunk room and community bathrooms.
Transformations is the best of both worlds. The natural surroundings and outdoor spaces offer beautiful views and opportunities for outdoor activities. And we still have the creature comforts like private, air-conditioned bedroom and bathrooms. And the wi-fi is available, just in case you want to check in or download your presentation.
Our conference and retreat center is open to secular and nonsecular, nonprofit and for profit groups, and all who value our commitment to promoting unity, reconciliation and harmony.

Art Gallery - Seeing the Holy |
"Let those who have eyes, see." ...The spirit of the holy surrounds us on all sides, from the grandeur of the night sky, the curve of a lake's shore, the loveliness of a flower in bloom, the face of a child. On a lovely autumn day in October 2008 and a beautiful day in May 2009, two groups of people came "away for a day of seeing, and being present to, the Holy" through their eyes and through the lens of their cameras. The days included sharing and reflection on Seeing the Holy; individual time for photographing and praying with the holy that surrounds us, inside and outside; sharing the experience through their own photographs, prayer and insights.
A sample of these images are available in the virtual gallery. Or enjoy them on display at Transformations during July and August, 2009. photo above by Norman Young, Oct. 2008
What might your eyes see? Join us for the next session, May 1, 2010. More details are available and registration is now open. | |
