About Transformations

Transformations Spirituality Center is a ministry of the sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph located within their motherhouse in Nazareth, Michigan (on Gull Road, just outside of Kalamazoo.)

We offer spiritual programming for guests from any faith tradition. Programs vary each year, but often include centering prayer, spiritual direction, retreats, physical spirituality programs like yoga, self improvement programs like 12-step, and hands-on programs like painting watercolors and writing icons.

Our meeting spaces, overnight guest accommodations and dining services are also available for rent to non-profit organizations. Community organizations and Churches have come here for recognition dinners, week-long or weekend planning retreats, one-day programs and more.

We also host many looking to spend some time "away" to reconnect on retreat by themselves, or build the community of a group. All enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Spiritual direction can be included with retreats.

• 29 overnight guest rooms with private bathrooms, accommodating more than 50 people double occupancy
